The Ginkgo Tree Inn is located in the charming small town of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, conveniently situated right in the middle of the state. Dr. Sheridan E. Gardiner began to build this home in 1902, moving slowly with precise detail.
He was not anxious to finish the big house until he met his bride-to-be and then as history tells us, he quickly finished the large home so they could marry.
The Ginkgo Tree Inn is a Victorian gem complete with a large front veranda, turret room, ornate woodwork, stained glass, and secret stairways. This is like your home away from home. A special place to reconnect with friends, disconnect from the busy world, and start new traditions. Come experience a piece of Michigan’s history, and schedule a stay with us!
